At just over 200 pages, Open, Heaven is intentionally concise, emphasizing layered emotions such as longing, shame, and the slow tension between desire and duty. Action-driven readers may find it slow-paced, but those who enjoy thoughtful, detail-oriented fiction will find it compelling.
