Seattle’s drag scene is about to ignite as international showgirl, producer, and RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 10 sensation Bosco brings back her acclaimed drag revue, Grindhaus, to The Crocodile on February 6–7 for two unforgettable nights.
Known for her razor-sharp wit, jaw-dropping looks, and undeniable star power, Bosco has curated Grindhaus as a dazzling fusion of drag, burlesque, cabaret, and avant-garde performance art. This installment promises to be the must-see event of the season, featuring a star-studded lineup from both the global and local drag scenes. Joining Bosco will be drag royalty Sasha Velour, Lady Camden, Stasha Sanchez, Midori Monet, Stacey Starstruck, and Angel Baby — each bringing their own unique flair and captivating style to the stage.
“This is the sixth installment of Grindhaus, and I couldn’t be more excited to bring it back to our home venue, The Crocodile,” Bosco explained. “It’s a star-studded, Queer variety revue that combines the clout of global drag superstars with the talent of our local Seattle showstoppers. Thanks to The Crocodile, Grindhaus has truly found its home in a high-production, large concert venue that allows the show to thrive and grow.”

Frank Gaimari: What does the title of the show, Grindhaus, mean?
Bosco: A “grindhouse” refers to a type of theater that specialized in showing low-budget, gritty, and often outrageous films — think raunchy, shocking, and unapologetically over the top. It’s the kind of entertainment that doesn’t take itself too seriously but still leaves a lasting impression. Honestly, that’s the perfect vibe to describe the Seattle drag scene. There’s a raw, unfiltered energy in Seattle drag that feels like it belongs in its own kind of theater, so Grindhaus is my way of creating that space.
And why the spelling? Well, I added a little flair, because, let’s be real, I’m Gay. It’s a nod to Queer culture, where we take something classic and make it fabulous.
FG: How does it feel to bring Grindhaus to The Crocodile?
B: Bringing Grindhaus to The Crocodile has been truly magical. This iconic venue has proven to be the perfect home for the show — it feels like the stars aligned, and we found our soulmate in a theater. The Crocodile’s team is phenomenal, and their support has made it possible to bring this wild, unapologetic vision to life.
For me, Grindhaus is more than just a show. It’s my love letter to Seattle. It’s a celebration of the city’s unique drag scene — its grit, its humor, and its heart. And where better to stage that love letter than at a venue that’s been such a cornerstone of Seattle’s cultural identity? It feels like the perfect marriage of venue and vision, and I couldn’t imagine Grindhaus happening anywhere else.

FG: You’ve toured the world and performed on some of the biggest stages. How does Seattle’s drag scene compare to other cities?
B: Seattle’s drag scene is truly one of a kind, and I genuinely believe it’s home to some of the best drag in the world. What makes it so special? The audiences. Seattle audiences are incredible — they’re passionate and engaged, and they know what they want. They demand a lot from their performers, and they’re not afraid to hold you to a high standard.
But here’s the thing: when you meet their expectations, they give back tenfold. There’s this beautiful energy exchange that happens in Seattle. The audience isn’t just there to watch — they’re there to be part of the experience. They cheer louder, laugh harder, and connect deeper. That kind of support pushes performers to be their absolute best. It’s a challenge, but it’s also a gift, and it’s one of the reasons I’m so proud to call Seattle’s drag scene my home.

FG: What can audiences expect from this year’s Grindhaus? Any surprises you can tease?
B: I give full control to the cast for each show, so honestly, I don’t know what to expect any more than the audience does. And that’s exactly what makes it so thrilling. By giving the performers the freedom to swing big and take creative risks, we create those electrifying, unpredictable moments that have become the hallmark of Grindhaus.
Every show is its own unique experience, shaped by the incredible talent and vision of the cast. It’s raw, it’s bold, and it’s always full of surprises. That element of the unknown is what keeps the energy alive and the audience coming back for more. Grindhaus isn’t just a show — it’s a living, breathing spectacle, and I can’t wait to see what the cast brings to the stage this year.
FG: You’ve assembled an incredible cast for this show. How did you choose the performers?
B: Years of working in both national and local drag scenes have given me the privilege of building relationships with some of the best performers out there. When it comes to casting Grindhaus, I always have two goals in mind. First, be entertaining. That’s the heart of the show — making sure the audience is captivated, thrilled, and having the time of their lives.
Second, I want to give incredible performers the space they need to bring their vision to life. Grindhaus is all about celebrating bold, creative talent, and I believe in giving the cast the freedom to push boundaries and take risks. It’s about creating a platform where they can shine, surprise, and deliver unforgettable performances. That combination of talent and trust is what makes this cast so extraordinary.
FG: Drag has evolved so much in recent years. How do you see Grindhaus pushing the boundaries of what a drag show can be?
B: I believe that drag — especially Seattle drag — deserves to be seen on a stage that matches its artistry and ambition. Grindhaus is about giving power to the performers, trusting their vision, and creating a space where they can push boundaries and redefine what drag can be. That’s how drag continues to grow and evolve.
Seattle performers have always been on the cutting edge of where drag is headed. There’s this fearless creativity and raw energy that sets them apart, and I want Grindhaus to amplify that. At the same time, it’s important to honor Seattle’s DIY punk roots, which have always been a huge part of the city’s drag identity. Grindhaus blends a gritty, rebellious spirit with bold, innovative performances to create something fresh, exciting, and uniquely Seattle.

FG: What’s the most rewarding part of producing a show like Grindhaus?
B: Producing this show is incredibly stressful — there’s no sugarcoating that. But there’s this moment, right after the last show of the weekend wraps, where everything hits me all at once. I’m overwhelmed with pride, gratitude, and this incredible sense of accomplishment. It’s in that moment that all the hard work feels worth it, and, somehow, I’m immediately energized to start planning the next one.
My team and I pour so much of ourselves into these shows. It’s a labor of love, and while the process can be exhausting, the reward is truly in the work itself. Seeing the vision come to life, watching the performers shine, and feeling the audience’s energy — it’s all so fulfilling. Grindhaus is a passion project in every sense, and that’s what makes it so rewarding.
FG: You’ve accomplished so much in your career — from walking New York Fashion Week to starring in your own documentary. What’s next for Bosco?
B: I’ve got exciting shows in the works for 2026, both in Seattle and across the country. Big projects are brewing, and I can’t wait to share them. Keep your eyes peeled for major announcements in the coming months.
I have a feeling this is going to be my biggest year yet. There’s so much on the horizon, and I’m ready to take things to the next level. It’s going to be bold, it’s going to be exciting, and I can’t wait for everyone to see what’s next!

As Bosco and her stellar cast prepare to take the stage, Grindhaus promises an unmissable evening of jaw-dropping performances. Whether you’re a die-hard drag fan or new to the scene, this is your chance to experience the absolute best of Seattle’s drag.
Tickets are on sale now at https://hereisbosco.com/, and are expected to sell out fast. More shows are scheduled for later in the year.
