The Horror Continues: Scream 7

by Frank Gaimari

The quiet life Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has worked so hard to build is shattered in the highly anticipated Scream 7. A new Ghostface killer emerges, reigniting her worst nightmares. This time, the stakes are higher than ever β€” her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the target. To protect her family, Sidney must confront the horrors of her past and face a killer who knows her better than anyone before.

Directed by Kevin Williamson, the creator of the original Scream, this latest chapter brings together a powerhouse cast. Alongside Campbell, Courteney Cox reprises her role as the sharp-witted Gale Weathers, while Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding return as the fan-favorite Meeks-Martin siblings. The film also introduces a bounty of new faces, including Isabel May, Anna Camp, Joel McHale, and Mckenna Grace.

With a story by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick, and a screenplay by Williamson and Busick, Scream 7 promises to deliver the tension, twists, and blood-soaked thrills that have defined the franchise for decades.

Will Sidney finally put an end to the bloodshed, or will the past claim her once and for all? Fans won’t have to wait long to find out β€” Scream 7 slashes its way into theatres on February 27, 2026.
